1. About God
He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.
2. About Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Was born of a virgin, Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days. He ascended to Heaven to be seated at God’s right hand and will return again to claim His church and finally to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
3. About the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation, imparting eternal life. The baptism in the Holy Spirit is available to all believers, which empowers Christians for life and service. He is the giver of gifts as seen in the New Testament.
4. About the Bible
The Bible is God’s Word to us. Human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit wrote it. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.
5. About Human Beings
People are made in the image of God, with tremendous potential for good. However, all of us are separated from God by sin.
6. About Salvation
Salvation is God’s free gift to all, but we must individually accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s gift of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty.
7. About Eternity
We will exist eternally, either in union with God through forgiveness and salvation in Heaven, or separated from God by sin in Hell. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.
8. About Water Baptism and Communion
Water baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper are to be observed by the church, but are not to be regarded as means of salvation.
